Welcome Address on behalf of the German Society for Vascular Surgery and Medicine (DGG)
Dear Colleagues, Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the German Society for Vascular Surgery and Medicine (DGG), it is my great pleasure to warmly welcome you to the Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) 2025. This congress has established itself as a leading international platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and innovations in vascular medicine. We are particularly honored that the DGG has again taken on the patronage of LINC 2025, further emphasizing our strong commitment to fostering collaboration and advancing vascular care.
Vascular medicine continues to evolve at an impressive pace, driven by technological innovation, groundbreaking research, and interdisciplinary teamwork. LINC has always played a vital role in uniting experts from different fields—including vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and angiology—providing a unique environment for discussing the latest evidence-based approaches and therapeutic strategies. It is this spirit of cooperation that makes LINC such an extraordinary event.
As a scientific society, the DGG places great emphasis on education and the promotion of young talent. We are delighted that LINC offers numerous opportunities for early-career professionals to engage, learn, and be inspired by leaders in the field. Ensuring the future of vascular medicine depends on our collective effort to support and mentor the next generation of specialists.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to the organizers for their outstanding dedication in making this world-class congress possible. Their efforts and visionary leadership have been instrumental in shaping LINC into the globally renowned event it is today.
I wish all participants a successful congress filled with insightful presentations, stimulating discussions, and valuable connections. May you leave Leipzig with fresh ideas and renewed enthusiasm for advancing vascular care.
With warm regards,
Farzin Adili
